I have been making teapots for a while now and I always love the process
of fitting the lids, making the spouts and handles, and the time involved
in putting them together. I often create drawings to refine the shape and balance
of the design. There are many ways to think about each of the elements
that go into the final look. By making drawings before I sit down to make a teapot I can explore all the options and hopefully create a beautiful piece that functions well.
