These ornaments are made from raku clay and fired using the Saggar method. Each ornament is painted with Cobalt Carbonate and Ferric Chloride solution and then enclosed in aluminum foil with combustibles like Miracle Grow, copper wire, steel wool, dried plants and horse hair. They are fired in a raku kiln and cooled naturally before being unpackaged. Suede cord is added for hanging.
